You can simply apply online. The application will ask questions about the house you are planning to buy and your finances. It takes less than 20 minutes to complete. If you are pre-qualified, you will be able to move forward with gathering additional documentation and completing the application process. After your application is completed, your BOK Financial mortgage banker will contact you to answer your questions, and to provide help and guidance throughout the entire loan process.

Once you have spoken to your mortgage banker and provided your intent to proceed, we’ll ask you for a deposit to cover the cost of the appraisal on your home so we can begin to process your request immediately.

We suggest you first assess how much longer you’ll stay in the home. If you plan to own the home for an extended period of time, and the interest rates are 1/2% to 5/8% lower than your current rate, refinancing may be the right choice for you.

Keep in mind that you are starting over. Refinancing replaces your existing loan with a new one. If you refinance at the same loan term on the new mortgage, you may pay more additional interest than you would save by lowering your monthly payment.
